Women's - Wooden Paddle Battle

Description

Leave your fancy composite paddles at home and join us for a night of back-to-basics pickleball played with wooden paddles.

All participants are provided one Franklin Wooden Pickleball Paddle that can be picked up by participants at the following times/locations:

Elevate Pickleball - During normal business hours

Elevate Pickleball, 3991 Glenside Dr Suite D (2nd Floor), Henrico, VA 23228

Event Venue - Day of event

Participants are welcome to decorate their paddles at home or use decoration station (while supplies last) day of!

This unique event levels the playing field and tests your pure pickleball skills without the advantage of modern equipment. We look forward to seeing you out on the court!

Format

All teams are guaranteed atleast 5 matches

There will be 2 skill divisions

Teams will be split into divisions by combined DUPR at time of registration

FAQ

Q: Can I bring my own wooden paddle?

A: Yes! You're welcome to bring your own wooden paddle if you prefer, but all players will receive one of these paddles to keep with registration.

Q: Will this count toward my DUPR rating?

A: No, this event will not affect DUPR ratings.

Q: Can I try out a wooden paddle before the event?

A: Yes! You’ll be able to pick up your paddle after registration/prior to the event.
